DEADLINE of February 3rd is fast approaching:

This should be a stellar event.  Instructors Chad and Sarah are known for their talent and professionalism, not to mention their vast experience.

Chad Phillips is a well renowned local mixologist with fifteen plus years of experience.  He has been featured on NPR, Foodable TV, Business Week, among others and was declared one of the top 10 Miami mixologists, that’s just part of who Chad is.

Sarah is a well loved artist and a born teacher. Sarah has taught too many classes to count (but maybe over 120 in the last three years) including two for SSYC (Mona Roach Painting party and the Ornament Painting Class). Teaching has taken Sarah all over the country where she has taught and contributed her talent to businesses for team building events as well as fund raising.

Individually and in partnership these two are experts at putting together creatively driven community experiences.

COCKTAILS:

The evenings supplies that will be included in the price of admission:

-Rum for two cocktails

-Limes for juicing

-Mixers, syrups and garnish

Chad will be teaching you how to make a classic daiquiri and a rum old fashioned while discussing the history of each cocktail and the wonderful world of rum.  The class will be completely interactive and questions are very encouraged.

What supplies you will want to have on hand for the evening:

-Ice

-Spoon

-Measuring cup or other device that measures in 1/2 ounce increments. (Hint: one tablespoon equals 1/2 an ounce)

-Large glass (preferably a pint glass, but any circular glass will work)

-Martina shaker or something to shake a cocktail in

-Some kind of fine strainer (spoon or Tupperware lid will work)

PAINTING:

The evenings supplies that will be included in the price of admission:

-Cocktail Glass

-Paintbrush

-Paint*

Sarah will show you some techniques and step by step directions on how to paint on your own cocktail glass! But not the one you are going to be drinking out of, not yet anyway.

*several paint colors in pre-portioned cups. (You may use your own if you want additional colors but it needs to be “multi-surface acrylic” paint.) Don’t forget to wear something you can get paint on.

What supplies you will want to have on hand for the evening:

-Napkins

-Cup or tray with water to rinse your brush off

NOTE: There would be one pick up date and location for participants to pickup their materials.  Other arrangements can be made on a case by case basic for an alternate pickup plan.
