BITES ON BOATS our Annual November Event

Bites on boats is historically an event similar to a progressive dinner. Although in this case it is appetizers on boats and then the evening moves to the little house aka floating ballroom on the dock at the Port of Poulsbo Marina. Come explore Poulsbo, its an amazing town and the best part is walkable within two minutes of the marina.

Skippers will receive #1 or #2 laminated cards in Poulsbo, 4 of each number. #3 will be at the floating ballroom where people who bring desserts should put their desserts.  Non skippers/crew are encouraged to bring a dessert.

Skippers and crew will prepare heavy Hors d'oeuvres, provide plates and napkins for serving to share for Saturday. This is not a sit down dinner but fun finger foods to share.  If people plan to drive over and want to collaborate food with other skippers, coordinate that with the individual shippers.  

Happy Hour starts at 4:30 on Saturday! 

5pm to 6pm #1 skippers and crew will be serving their bites on boats. 

6pm to 7pm #2 skippers and crew will be serving their bites on boats. 

7pm and on #3 floating ballroom 

All guests are asked to mingle with all the #1 boats for the 1st hour then #2 boats for the second hour. This allows the skipper and crew to get off their boats and visit with the other skippers and crew from other boats.

This means that you will spend approx 15 minutes on each boat. This gives everyone a chance to see the different boats and check out the various foods on each boat. 

An Air B&B or such is being investigated for people interested in staying over in Poulsbo for Saturday night.  If you have additional information or need additional information please contact the Member at Large.
