Skippers Meeting
Congratulations to our recent Sailing Course students! The classroom course has finished and they are ready to head out on the water. Thanks to instructors Kami and Mike B!
Larry's Annual Luau Garden Party was held last Saturday and was a huge success! Thank you to Larry for hosting such a fantastic event!
The SSYC annual Homecoming dance was well attended and lots of fun! It was great seeing so many people!

Each month, SSYC organizes several "Happy Hours" at various locations in the area. These events are for members, both annual members and "casual" (weekly) members. You must be a member at one of these levels to attend. Each event will have a Host as well as a Board Member in attendance (can be the same person, but not necessarily). At these Happy Hours, as well as other events, there may be opportunities to sign up with a skipper for a boating outing.
Registration is required for Happy Hours in order to save you a seat!

On Monday, June 8, we will kick off our annual charity fundraiser for Northwest Harvest. Vice Commodore, Donna Adams, will provide information and share ways that you can help with this important event. The Race and Gala will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Ballard Elks Lodge.

The weekend of May 1-3 is Opening Day of Boating Season hosted by Seattle Yacht Club. SSYC will have a boat in the parade on Saturday, May 2! Come watch us and the other boats as we all parade through the Montlake Cut!
SSYC is offering a Basic Sailing Course starting May 20. Membership is not required. Details HERE
