Elections for the 2024 Board are coming up on December 4. Please plan to attend the meeting to cast your vote (annual members only). There will also be a vote on some bylaw changes. We have been discussing those and will continue on 11/27. Voting on those changs will also occur on 12/4.

A Celebration of Life for former SSYC member, Laurie McRae, will be held on November 14 at CYC Seattle from 3:00-6:00 pm. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Elly Cyr at 425-501-4006.
Fleet Captain, Steve Garrett, is selling his Cal 27. It is a great "starter boat" for anyone wanting to sail. Moorage at Northlake Marina can also be included. Contact Steve at swgarrett@gmail.com for more information.

We had a fabulous Halloween Dance event! There were 5 costume winners and we raffled off 5 baskets! Thanks to all who participated and helped out.
Next Monday, we will meet at McMenamin's in Bothell. This week only, we are waiving the weekly registration fee. Hope you can join us in the Thorndike Room!
We had a very successful Chowder Fest with 36 attendees, 5 boats, and 7 Chowders! Congratulations to winners Anne S, Roger D, and Kris S!
Our next big event is our Halloween Dance on 10/30/23. There will be prizes for best costumes and a raffle of Halloween Baskets!
Then, on November 6, our meeting will be FREE to all attendees. If you are not an annual member, this is a great time to come to a meeting! Bring your friends!

Chowder Fest is coming this weekend! Join us on Friday at 4:30 for Happy Hour at Anthony's at the Des Moines Marina. Then on Saturday, 10/22/23, the Chowder Fest will be held at the Des Moines Marina in the tent starting at 5:00. It will be a fabulous and yummy event!
Then... on Monday, 10/23/23, we will meet for dinner and a boating meeting at Ricardo's in Factoria.
Join us for Happy Hour this Friday, 10/13/23, at Razzi's in Greenwood at 4:30!
Then, next Monday, 10/16/23, we will have our Boating Meeting at Ballard Elks. It will be "DONATION NIGHT". click here for details.

The Harvest Gala on 9/23/23 was a huge success! Friends, food, dancing, and fundraising for Northwest Harvest! It was a great event. A huge THANK YOU to everyone!
We have many fun events coming up! On Monday, 10/2/23, we have a guest speaker to share stories from his career in the Coast Guard. On Saturday, 10/21/23, will be our annual Chowder Fest at Des Moines Marina. At the end of the month, there are Halloween events/dances for all to enjoy!
